fonts-mathjax-extras software package provides JavaScript display engine for LaTeX and MathML (extra fonts), you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-mathjax-extras
fonts-mathjax-extras is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-mathjax-extras package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-mathjax-extras *
You will get with fonts-mathjax-extras package name, version, architecture and description in a table
